For the months of September, October, November and December the Board meets in the Thornridge High School Auditorium during the months of January, February, March and April the Board meets in the auditorium at Thornton Township High School and during the months of May, June, July, and August the Board meets in the cafeteria at Thornwood High School. As Board members, we work with the administration, meet with community groups, and receive input from parents, students, and community members. The seven members are elected at large by District 205 residents and serve unpaid, four-year terms. The Thornton Township High School District 205 Board of Education sets policy for the school district, in accordance with state and federal laws, in order to ensure the educational results for all District students.
